Panerai FER 013 Ferrari Chronograph GrandTurismo

Panerai is the premier Italian watch manufacturer. Their story began in Florence in the 1860’s and soon involved the Italian Navy. Because the Navy commissioned them to create watches that were easy to read in the dark underwater, new luminous materials were developed as well as the creation of watches that could be water resistant over 1000 meters. As Panerai is the premier watchmaker in Italy, Ferrari is the premier automobile manufacturer in Italy. These two corporations have teamed up to create the Panerai FER 013 Ferrari Chronograph GrandTurismo watch for the auto enthusiast.

The movement for the Panerai FER 013 is automatic with a 46 hour power reserve, and the 45 mm case is of brushed steel. The black rubber strap bracelet is perfectly in keeping with the overall feel of a watch that reminds one of a red Ferrari GrandTurismo. In fact, the rotor is engraved with the ‘Prancing Horse’ and the dial is GrandTurismo red.
