People who think they are Nascar enthusiasts might view a couple events on the tube once and a while.  Those who know they are real Nascar worshipers will not only view the races on the television, they will regularly attend races on the real track.  Being at an actual race is genuinely compelling, and will probably last for about three hours, so you should probably come prepared.  There are lots of things that a Nascar enthusiast should bring to the races to make the race the most fun, but there are a select few accessories that pretty much every race fan can agree on.

one of the more crucial items to bring to the events is food and drinks.  A small cooler will be very handy if you plan on bringing your own refreshments, as it holds all of your refreshments, and will squeeze right between the bleachers.  Three hours can seem like a very long time if you are hungry or thirsty and are not to pay $5 for a bottled water.  This being said, if you are not bringing food and drinks, make sure to bring a bit of money to spend for refreshments and apparel.
 
If you have ever been to a race, you have probably seen the enormous amount of hats and t-shirts that are worn by race enthusiasts to support their favorite driver or team.  Nascar apparel is one item that pretty much all fans brings to events, and it not only shows your support for your favorite driver, it also lets people know that you are a true follower.  Sunglasses are a very required item because they guard your eyes from the sun’s rays and glare that might come off of the cars.  One think-ahead thing that is very recommended is an umbrella or rain coat, because sometimes you can never know when rain is coming.

Metal benches are good for seating a large number of people efficiently, but definitely aren’t the most luxurious seats in the world.  Seat cushions can be bought right at the track, or if you own a cushion of your own, go ahead and bring it!  Also, in the hotter and brighter times of the year, it can really pay off to bring some sunscreen.  There’s nothing worse than coming home to discover that you now resemble a strawberry, so better safe than sorry.

It can also be a downer if you miss your favorite driver pulling a sweet maneuver to pull in front of the pack.  To stay in on the driving action, there are a few items that can be utilized.  A scanner can be useful while tailgating, driving, or just to hear the action more clearly at events!  Scanners let you in on all of the action, even if you are off the track.  To see those awesome moves and memorable moments, a excellent quality camera can be useful.  If you are just looking to see the race up close and personal, a high quality set of binoculars can come in handy.  I would recommend Nikon Action ATB binoculars and other cameras offered by Nikon for optics because of the pure quality.  Now that you have you checklist of Nascar essentials, go out and catch some of the action!
